Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: September 22, 2026

HomeBillCutter respects your privacy choices. This page explains how to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, and how to exercise your other privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and under the privacy laws of other states.

To opt out now: email [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and include the name, phone number, and email address you used on homebillcutter.org. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out request for the browser that sends them.

What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean

When you submit a request on the Site, we transmit the information you provide to the third-party providers and marketing partners that can fulfill it, and we may be compensated for doing so. We also allow advertising platforms to collect information through cookies and pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising. Under some state laws, these activities are considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even though we do not exchange your information for money in the everyday sense.

What We Collect and Share

We share this information with the categories of recipients described in our Privacy Policy: matched providers, marketing partners, advertising platforms, and service providers.

Your Rights

How to Submit a Request

Send any privacy request to [email protected]. Tell us which right you are exercising and include the contact details you used on the Site so we can locate your record. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may ask you to confirm your identity directly.

Verification

To protect your information, we match the details in your request against the information we hold. We may ask for additional information solely to verify your identity, and we will not use it for any other purpose.

Response Time

We confirm receipt of a request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and how long we expect to take. Opt-out requests are processed within 15 business days.

Limits of an Opt-Out

An opt-out stops future sales and sharing by HomeBillCutter. It does not withdraw a request you already submitted, and it does not bind providers who already received your information; contact those providers directly to update your preferences with them. To stop calls or texts from providers, see our Consent to Contact & TCPA Disclosure.

Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise comparable rights using the same contact method. Where your state provides a right to appeal a decision on your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
