Accessibility

HomeBillCutter is committed to making homebillcutter.org (the "Site") usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want everyone who visits the Site to be able to read its content, complete its forms, and reach the providers they are looking for.

Our Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. These guidelines explain how to make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a wide range of disabilities.

What We Do

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and some parts of the Site — particularly content embedded from third parties — may not yet fully conform. We regularly review the Site and address issues as we find them.

Assistive Technology

The Site is designed to work with current versions of common assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and speech recognition software, in current versions of major browsers.

Report an Accessibility Problem

If you have difficulty using any part of the Site, or if you need information from the Site in an alternative format, please email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page you were using and the problem you experienced. We take accessibility reports seriously and will respond within 5 business days.

Third-Party Providers

The providers you may be connected with through the Site operate their own websites and services, which we do not control. Contact those providers directly with accessibility requests about their sites.
